Since its formation, Cellit has received considerable attention for its self-service mobile marketing offerings for smaller businesses, House4Cell and CouponZap, each of which is now the dominant player in its field. After creating these best-of-breed platforms, Cellit began applying its world-class mobile expertise to global firms, having worked with names such as RE/MAX, Prudential, Hearst Corporation, Sotheby's, GPS Insight, the city of Las Vegas, and others. Cellit is a member of the Mobile Marketing Association and is headquartered in Chicago. Cellit maintains a second sales and support office in Phoenix. |
David Wachs President Mr. Wachs is the founder and President of Cellit. Previous to launching Cellit, Wachs worked as a financial analyst for Credit Suisse First Boston covering small-cap tech equities. Prior to CSFB, Wachs spent several years as a management consultant for DiamondCluster International, where he focused on new venture strategy and technology management for Fortune 500 companies. Wachs is a dual cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.S.E. in Computer Science Engineering from the School of Engineering. David is a frequent speaker on mobile technology and has presented at the California Association of REALTORs conference, the Advertising Research Foundation, and the National Restaurant Association. David has been interviewed by FOX News and has been quoted in numerous articles, including USA TODAY, Variety, and US Banker Magazine. | 
Eric Lazar Managing VP of Sales Mr. Lazar, a native New Yorker, has significant experience providing custom marketing solutions to large national clients. After serving 8 years in the Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst and Arabic translator, Lazar earned a reputation in the broadcast television industry as a no-nonsense, results orientated salesperson and quickly rose through the management ranks. His most recent engagement was as the Regional National Sales Manager for Sinclair Broadcast Group, overseeing agency sales out of Chicago for a group of six television stations. Lazar has extensive experience in creative solution ideation, client advocacy and a passion for the mobile arena that make him an ideal advocate for Cellit’s clients. Lazar received his B.A. in Political Science from Stony Brook University. | 
Brian Bauer VP of Client Services Mr. Bauer has built a reputation as a valued core team member for startup business ventures, using his well rounded experience in mergers and acquisitions, business process and human capital management to propel high growth business to reach their potential. Previous to joining Cellit, Bauer served as Vice President & General Manager of Barrington Interactive, which included the ground-up creation of a self-sufficient technology, content and sales division with a focus on hyper-local news and information. Bauer received his B.S. in Business Administration from Truman State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago. |
Brian Joly Lead Developer Brian Joly joined Cellit as a Developer in November 2008. If you need a mobile web site then you might just find yourself working with him. Brian earned his bachelors in Computer Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2003 and has been a Zend Certified Engineer since 2008. PHP is his forte and he spends a lot of time in Eclipse and Putty. He loves to bike and thinks he likes to run. If you ever find yourself on the Chicago Lakefront path at 7 am, then be sure to look for his orange Team World Vision jersey. | 
Trevor Oldak Lead Developer Trevor graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2006 and joined Cellit in 2008. He is responsible for the primary Cellit Studio code base, the engineering behind Scanit, and all of the features upgrades and custom client work that makes each SMS campaign sing. | 
John Volk Developer John graduated from the University of Minnesota, but decided that wasn't enough - so attended DePaul for his Masters in Software Engineering. Having done time in the large corporate environment, John's glad for the brick, timber and natural lighting that is the cozy atmosphere at Cellit. He's our resident iPhone specialist, and couldn't be more pleased that he's now using Macs at work and at home. |
Jacob Tabak Developer Jacob graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor's in Computer Science. He began his professional career as the Systems Administrator for the Milwaukee Jewish Day School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is highly interested in mobile development and systems administration. | 
Bryan Butler Graphic Designer An alum of Columbia College with a degree in Graphic Design, Bryan has been called a "Creative Powerhouse" by fellow co-workers. One may notice the sounds of 60's psychedelic rock being emitted from his workspace, while he is designing and oblivious to the world going on around him. Bryan loves a good font, and prides himself in pointing out different typefaces on the street, on the EL, and in billboards - much to his friends' annoyance. |
Jarrett Klein National Sales Manager A natural entrepreneur, Jarrett began working with Cellit Mobile Marketing in its infancy, contributing to many of the company’s early successes. Jarrett brings with him an incredible passion for technology and a hands-on approach to customer service. | 
Ilyssa Cohen Senior Account Manager Naturally approachable, Ilyssa is the consummate customer service professional and an integral component to the Cellit sales force. Ilyssa hails from Arizona where she graduated with a B.A. in Media Arts from the University of Arizona. | 
Andrew Nolan Office Manager While highly unorganized himself, Andrew has somehow channeled his unique combination of talents to keep the Cellit operation running smoothly and efficiently. He graduated from the University of Texas with a B.S. in Radio, Television and Film, and a B.A. in Anthropology. |
Meredith Krantz National Sales Manager Meredith has eight years experience in media sales, including print, corporate events and online. Originally from the East Coast, Meredith is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied Literature and Dance. After college, Meredith made the natural leap into sales, and now she is slowly adapting to the Chicago winters after ten years in New York City. | 
Angela Starz Account Manager Boasting as having the fastest texting fingers in Chicago, it was natural that Angie end up at Cellit. She parlays her vast experience as a voracious text consumer into helpful insights for her clients towards achieving their mobile goals. Angie graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Marketing Communications. | 
Randy Atkisson National Sales Manager With over 20 years experience in the world of advertising, Randy has worked with businesses from Main Street to industry leaders. Beginning with small community newspapers, he moved to major metro daily, then to interactive over 10 years ago, helping launch one of the first true media portal websites in 2001. His experience and solid understanding of such diverse businesses makes him a valuable asset to clients and partners. Randy’s passion for mobile is apparent in the way he attacks a project, looking for ways to make each campaign more successful than the last. |
Jeffrey Leppink Intern Jeff is currently a junior at Hope College, majoring in business management and communications. He is joining Cellit for the semester as a spring intern. Due to an interest in entrepreneurial endeavors, Jeff is working to soak up the everyday functions of a small, rapidly growing business. After graduating in the fall of 2011, Jeff is interested in gaining experience with small business and eventually starting his own company. He is very excited to get out of the classroom and work with Cellit in the Windy City. | 
Lindsay Lewin National Sales Manager Our resident improviser, Lindsay is quick on her feet and a natural born problem solver. She is a creative, results-focused account executive with practical experience in sales, client research, and customer business solution design. Lindsay’s keen interest in new technologies is what excites her most about working with Cellit, and her four years of experience with online media and emerging technologies makes her a valuable part of the Cellit team. |
